Helpful waiters and great wine. We came to Lucca because of the recommendation of a friend who ate here. We were very pleased with the experience. We recommend making a reservation as it’s very popular. Make it for 8pm so you can see a Puccini concert before!

We discovered this gorgeous place on recommendation from a local and have been talking about it ever since.
It has an authentic charm that many places lack with aproned waiters, white table cloths and copper untensils hanging from the ceiling but not at all in a kitch way! Our waiter not only spoke English perfectly but had a superb dry sense of humour that we loved!!!!
Oh and the FOOD!!!! My partner had a rabbit ragout with paparadelle and my mushrooms with polenta were superb. If you are ever in Lucca you have to put this on your list!

We were a group of 8 . A complementary glass of Prosecco on arrival was a very welcome touch after a long days driving around Tuscany. The service was excellent and meals delicious. Quite a few of us had the Baby goat, which was succulent and Devine. The pastas were great as well. The wine selection was good . It’s not a cheap restaurant but it was well worth the euros spent.

This restaurant has it all, a beautiful ambiance, traditions, family owned, talented employees, and amaaaazing food, % authentic Italian. Their staff is skilled and can suggest food and wines to your liking! We had homemade raviolis, beefsteak Fiorentino beautiful prepared and cut to us at the table. Deserts to die for! The restaurant was full so you have to plan your visit here!
Price wise: value for money!
We will return! Again and again!
