“Not a lot to see!”

Pleasant gardens aimed more at families with small children....nice place to sit and escape the heat of the city...there are some new shelters with seats that are covered in Jasmine and Honeysuckle....worth the walk!

“Romantic, old-style garden - One of the most beautiful place I've ever been”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 January 2013

Romantic, old-style garden, dim, many beautiful greenery, lovely flowers, ruined walls. One of the most beautiful place I've ever been. There is also a playground for children.

Very charming, small gardens open to the public all daylight hours where it's also possible to picnic.

“Let your inner kid out”

Jump on the trampolines or just sit on the grass by the teatro verde. It's a nice place to relax. And it (probably) used to be the city wall and that just adds charm.

“A piece of calm in a busy city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2012

We enjoyed wandering around the gardens but thought there would be a bit more to see, as it is a garden we thought there would be more flowers. We especially liked the Fortezza di San Gallo incorporated into the gardens and the bronze sculptures.
