Idk if it is just the room that we got, but our bed consisted of a plastic cot with a thin matress on top. The matress was so short that my husband who is 6ft had to sleep with his feet hanging off the bed almost a foot. I am only 5ft and my feet reached the end of the bed when my head was at the top. The room was also soo narrow that our small bed was right up against the walls which made sleeping even more uncomfortable as u didn't even has space to roll over without hitting a stucco wall and getting covered in stucco dust.
The also don't provide a real free breakfast. What your free breakfast includes is a voucher for 1 cup of tea and 1 crossaint at a cafe down the street. Idk in what world this constitutes a full meal but I was not impressed. At every other hotel we stayed at in Italy (amalfi, naples and rome) our free breakfast included ham cheese more than one crossaint fruit or fruit juice and cereal so I know this is not the norm in Italy and this hotel was being utterly cheap and/or dishonest with their advertisement that their rate included a free breakfast.
They also say that eating is forbidden in the room, but they don't have any cafe facilities on site where you can eat. But they do provide a mini fridge In the room so I was a little confused.
Despite the negatives of the bed size and lack of a real breakfast, I must say, the staff is nice and helpful, the room is clean, and it's in a great location only a 5min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa,
