Clean, comfortable and very affordable rooms, right in the centre of Pisa, 200 metres from the train station and a fifteen minute walk from the airport. Very helpful staff, who provided us with a map and detailed advice on where to go and where not to go. Will stay there again the next time I'm in Pisa!

I know I've read so many reviews from people who just expect what they find in the USA . If there is a ace to always expect to charge your phone there is always one in the bathroom . I was fine with the one by the desk . No the air is not freezing cold like you might find in the states but the room is half the price too . It does come on when it's needed because if the gear . It's pre set so you don't waste energy . That is very typical in Italy . Fact is look around you at night and notice the Italians are wearing jackets and long sleeves while you are complaining about being hot . My room was as spacious as one person should need . I paid for a room and not a house . The bathroom was like most in italy and the shower was large compared to most of the rest I've stayed in . If you can barely turn around it's typical but by that standard mine at this hotel was big enough for 2 people . The breakfast was as good as it gets here . Italians are just not known for much more than coffee and a roll . But this hotel had it all . Coffee , milk , juices , cereal , eggs , beats , cheeses , fruit , rolls and much more . Very happy with what I found . I stayed on the 5th floor and opened my big window upon arrival . Never was the sun glaring in and I stayed cool all night long as I left it wide open . No Mosquitos flying in like the guy complained about here . Would I recommend this place or stay here again ? Can't wait for another opportunity to enjoy my stay . 100% satisfied

The hotel entrance is somewhat off the street and you have to look down what looks like a walkway to find it. Once inside, it had a rustic look with a nice 2nd floor where breakfast is served. The room I got was updated and the shower was nice. The WIFI worked well in the room and so did the air condition. The breakfast was good. We got hot and cold food, with eggs and bacon for the hot food and cereal, yogurt, bread, pastries etc for cold food. Coffee and tea was on order and included with breakfast. The room was clean and everything was in working order in it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Pisa as a good value hotel.

We were only staying at the hotel for one night and were expecting something cheap and cheerful.

The reception staff were very helpful when we arrived and when we checked out. Unfortunately the room was dated and not very clean. The shower in particular was a bit grim.

The hotel entrance is in a less than desirable alley way and we felt a bit scared walking down there. There were also loud noises throughout the night from other rooms which was unsettling.

We read some reviews on trip advisor that said the breakfast was surprisingly good; in our experience it was far below average and we were very disappointed.

The hotel is ideally located for the train station - only about 2 minutes walk. When leaving the hotel to walk to the station we were greeted by a group of young men having an argument and some homeless women and somehow nearly got hit by a lighter that had been set on fire which flew past us.

All in all I feel that the hotel is over priced for the poor quality of room, breakfast and undesirable location (other than being close to the station) and we regretted not staying in a hostel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early August in room 526.

We easily found the hotel after getting the shuttle bus from the airport to the station as the hotel is minutes from the station entrance. The actual entrance to the hotel is set in an arcade which during the day contains a few 'characters' to say the least. They are a bit intimidating upon arrival but you kind of start to ignore them the longer you stay!

We found the decor of the hotel a little odd and dated but it did add a degree of charm which made it feel a bit more family owned rather than an out of the box chain hotel. We didn't have the greatest view from our room (a dereleict courtyard of some kind) but that really didn't bother us. The wifi signal was ok in strength but did log you out everytime I took my phone away from the hotel but I guess thats just communal wifi for you.

The staff seem nice and were more than helpful for recommending where to avoid and where to go for eating. The breakfast was pretty outstanding with a huge selection to choose from along with a vast selection of drinks. The old boy with the beard (maybe the owner?) did take a slight dislike to leaving items at breakfast but we found this quite amusing!

The room again was pretty dated in it's decoration but again we only used it as a base so really didn't require more, the air con in our room was not the greatest and did struggle to cool the room to a comfortable temperature.

Pisa is a lovely place and this hotel lets you explore the city at your own pace along with the benefit of being able to explore other parts of Tuscany such as Lucca (which is beautiful!) and Florence using the train.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and to be honest we'd definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Don't leave your windows open at night as we got badly bitten by mosquitoes!

We picked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. It was a great value choice. The location, a 5 minute walk from the central train station, was great for connections to other city destinations. And the staff at the desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful with restaurant selections and directions. The main attraction of the Leaning Tower was only a 15 minute walk away. Our room was adequate and clean with a bit of local color. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot and cold plates at a reasonable 7€ per person.
The entrance is off the main street in an alley and that setting gave us some initial concerns. However these were immediately dispelled as once inside, the hotel lobby was attractive and functional. We stayed two nights using the hotel as a staging point from our train ride to & from Florence and our flight to & from NYC from the airport in Pisa.

Room Tip: Choose the 7th floor as it offers good views of the city and the tower.

We stayed here for 8 nights in August because of the Tripadvisor reviews. The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the station which is why we stayed here.We made day visits to Lucca, Sienna, Viareggio, San Gimignano, Florence and Montecatini all by train.

All the staff are friendly, helpful and have good English. The breakfast buffet offers an excellent selection and we ate in the bar three times in the evening. The choice was limited but reasonably priced. Our bedroom was pleasant with air conditioning and wifi. The hotel is rather old fashioned in style but that gives it charm. The hotel gives you a map of Pisa and a list of restaurants. We tried 4 of them, they were all of a very good standard.
The Learning Tower of Pisa is about 25 minutes pleasant walk away. Pisa is more interesting than it sounds. The airport is reasonably close to the hotel and the hotel will send a shuttle bus to pick you up which we did.
The hotel is situated in a slightly run down area near the station. The entrance to the hotel is down a shabby arcade opposite an internet cafe and men stand outside it but the area appears to be reasonably safe.
My review only confirms what many others had said about this good hotel.
