“Just amazing!”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

We stayed in this charming little hotel for 1 night. It's just beyond amazing , the furniture , the breakfast and not to mention the staff who were extremly helpful and kind. The location is also good. Only 5-7 minutes walk from the leaning Tower of Pisa. The rooms are a bit small though but they have a nice living room area. It's a very homely hotel.

This tiny hotel (just four bedrooms) was beautifully restored and furnished by the very friendly and helpful owners a year ago. Our bedroom was spacious, spotless and elegant as well as comfortable. The shower was excellent and well equipped. There is a car park nearby and all the sights and entertainment of Pisa an easy walk away.

The hospitality is outstanding. There is a coffee machine, bottled water and a range of delicious fresh biscuits available for guests at all times. The breakfast was amazing: fresh melon, pineapple and grapes along with fresh fruit tarts, a variety of exceptionally good pastries, cakes, breads and jams as well as Italian ham, mozzarella and other cheeses. The cappuccinos were so good my husband accepted seconds. A choice of fresh juices and the offer of scrambled eggs also impressed us greatly. We left well set up for another wonderful day in beautiful Italy.

Be aware, the hotel is on the first floor without a lift.

Wow what a fantastic place! We really fell on our feet finding this lovely B&B! The owners really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They will explain the history of the 17th century building that they have restored to a very high standard. The frescoes on the ceiling and the style of the furnishings they have chosen really add a luxurious feel. You will get three keys when you arrive, one for the main front door on the street, another for the second door at the top of the stairs once inside (to get to their part of the building) and a third for your room. The breakfast area is communal so you eat with the other guests which is nice and social. Met a lovely Canadian couple this morning (Kathy and Dave) who were on a long tour of Europe and whom we spent a long time talking with which was nice. The owners will also happily book taxis for you and recommend restaurants etc. They also held onto our suitcases securely to allow us to wander round Pisa for our last morning before flying home.
So to summarise this is a lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay here again!

We arrived and, like Jeanette C, wondered what we had booked, but as soon as we went inside we found a stunning refurbishment mixing traditional with very modern features such as the shower room - straight from a design magazine. The breakfast is out of this world served by the most charming and helpful lady, who wasv so helpful when the taxi to the airport failed to arrive - she arranged for the owner's husband to take us at breakneck speed in order to catch our flight.
It is located in eay walking distance of the City centre and very well placed for the Tower.
Small and peacefull.
Spoil yourselves; we would definitely do so again

Room Tip: I think there are only good rooms.

We arrived very late on Monday morning and the owner was very accommodating, despite keeping them up.

Our room was stunning, the only negative was the bathroom next door is only separated by a thin glass wall (at the vault of the ceiling) so you could hear people showering however it was ok.

Breakfast was amble and fresh.

Location is perfect with parking (pay and display) outside the property and approximately 5 minute walk to the leaning tower of Pisa!

Would go back again :)

We spent two days at the hotel. The owner si a lovely person, she was very nice to us. The room we stayed at was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast was abundant and very good. The residenza is located in a very nice part of the town, in front of a park. Would definitely go back.

We came here for 3 nights and I have to say it was a great experience. Don't be to confused by outside looks as inside you will be welcomed to a little palace. Original features, tiled floors, luxurious furniture and breakfast to die for. We came with our small daughter and had a very warm and friendly welcome by the host. They even bought and supplied a travel cot and a high chair for us :) The room next to us was free and we were offered to use privately the lounge area - so finished with two amazing rooms for ourself! Everything here is high standard and very romantic. Location is just perfect for all tourist attractions. Don't hesitate with your choice as this place will make you remember your trip to Pisa forever :)
