A really lively place. Good food. reasonable prices. Fun staff. If you don't speak Italian the owner will mime the menu to you (honest) His impression of a hare was great. Even if we guessed kangaroo at first. Unimpressive entrance but well worth a visit. Deserves its good reviews.

Found on Trip Advisor. Everyone MUST go here - if they can get a table. Small restaurant with only Italian spoken and menu. But do not fear because translated menu with app into Englsih. Complimentary glass of proseco, ace food especially loved pudding. Great wine and complimentary lemoncello. Red rose given to ladies. Waiter a true performer/entertainer. Very reasonable price. Would definitely return.

Friendly welcome although no English is spoken though the waiter very friendly translating menu with an app on his I phone. Massive wine selection and a complimentary glass of proseco. Had a spicy pasta to start which was superb and a bbqd cockeral as main which was tasty. Had tiramisu for desert which was nice as was the liminchella to finish. Highly recommended

I have been there with two friends, we found it on tripadvisor and went there because of the very good comments. It is a small restaurant with only a few tables, but it is sooooo good! The waiter cannot speak any english, but that is no problem because he is so friendly and talking with both hand and feet, you will somehow understand! If not, he will use his iPhone to translate for him :D The food was extremely delicious (try the typical carpaccio) and we didn't want to stop eating even though we were so full of food.
If you have absolutely no knowledge about or feeling for the italian language, you might have a hard time trying to understand the menu (it's only in italian). But my recomandation is: No matter what you order, it will be delicious, so just go there and have a try!

I'd eat here every week if I lived in Pisa! Food to die for, warm welcome, patient and helpful staff (thank you Lorenzo) and intimate atmosphere. This TRULY is one of my all-time favourite restaurants. The antipasti Peperosa was a masterpiece filling two dinner plates and the steak was melt in the mouth perfection. I honestly don't have the words. Eat here! I'll say it again, EAT HERE!
