Mixed reviews here. The check in process was great - really helpful & efficient staff member, check out not so much. The lobby area is nothing to write home about, corridors to bedrooms are nice though & the decor there & in the rooms is cute. We had a twin room on the ground floor & maybe that was our downfall. It was tiny, and we had a bathroom set up for the elderly or wheelchair users although the room was so small I'm not sure how useful it would have been for these people. The bed was rock hard! The location is great to be fair, nice 10 min walk to the tower. Dinner was also delicious in the hotel restaurant and the restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast was ok. Overall it was fine but should have been cheaper for what it is.

Looking back now on our Fawlty towers experience we can laugh but at the time we weren't so happy.
The hotel is well located for exploring the city of Pisa and the square with the leaning tower.
As this was our honeymoon we booked a junior suite in this four star?? hotel. I have stayed in nicer hostels. The room was dark when we entered and ever wall was dirty with scuff marks etc. All of the furniture was also dirty with what looked like tissue or paper underneath the glass.
The WIFI in the hotel was terrible, having arrived late we tried to download a film to watch before going to bed. During our two night stay the film did not complete downloading. The staff on the desk seemed to be put out by us when we were trying to check in/out or ask questions.
The staff in the restaurant/bar were always friendly.
However the food was not great and we only ate dinner here once and did not avail of the breakfast again.
All in all a great disappointment which we will not repeat.

Ideally located for the leaning tower and very close to the railway station San Rossare 5 mins. walk out the hotel door passing front of the Kronos Sport to the end of the road with a path straight into the station for trains to Lucca, Florence, Livorno and Central Station etc. The hotel with friendly staff,clean rooms, and good selection of food for breakfast. Ideal for a short stay.
