Fab stay at this hotel with my husband and friends 9th 11th may ,though had a little walk to book in at other hotel, which we eventually found! Made welcome with a drink nibbles in the sunny garden terrace! Rooms were clean and comfy beds! Tastefully decorated throughout! Plenty of choice for breakfast ,fruit, cereal, meats, cheese bread rolls, lovely pastries, and of course coffee! Friendly service! Thank you for lovely stay in Pisa! Xx fantastic!!!!!
First impressions of this hotel were very good, once we found it. You have to check in at a hotel about 5 minutes walk away, staff there all spoke good english and were very helpful. Room was very nicely decorated with a free safe and fridge but no air conditioning. Nice shower but could do with some form of light in there as it was quite dark even with the bathroom light on. On the third night we noticed quite a few ants in the bed and in various areas of the room. When we mentioned it to staff, they seemed to already be aware of it, and had not done anything about it. Breakfast was small but adequate and the waiters were very nice and helpful. Only allowed one hot drink per day with extra cups being charged for, so not so good if you like tea or coffee. Close to the town centre, about 5 minutes away. Nice for a few days and if you like to find your own way around as there are no reception staff except at breakfast time. The location of the hotel is in a back street so be aware you may need to ask for directions. Overall a nice stay
We stayed one night in Pisa, and we could not have chosen a better location for proximity to the leaning tower, and at such a fantastic price! The concierge, Nicolai, went out of his way to accommodate our late arrival from the airport, and assisted us with parking our car, walked with us to find our room, and was generally fantastic and super helpful! Great hotel for the price we paid, including breakfast!
Beware, there is no reception at this Hotel, and actually there is no staff during the day or the night. Reception should be made at the Relais del 'Orologio which is about 300meters away. You will get the key of the building and of your rooms there, and will be asked to pay the stay tax at the check in.
Once in the hotel, the smell in the corridor is horrible, with a smell of humidity that disappears in the rooms (thanks God)!
Rooms are small even in the Deluxe category with no place to store your clothes except trousers and jackets. The safe in my room didn't work, as neither the TV.
Bathroom is ok, but doesn't fit people who are short of size! the toilet paper dispenser is about 1m75cm high (no joke!) so are hangers in the bathroom.
Breafast is not served at the Relais dei Fiori, but at the hotel where you have made the check-in. Not very convenient. Buffet is rather poor, and service is not Professional. Glasses, spoons, knifes, plates are missing.
There is obviously better hôtels in Pisa.
The hotel is well situated close to all main attraction. The street nearby is not the calmest one but not too bad (you have the noises of people going to bed after a night out). Good prices in general.
No problem at all, just be aware you need to do the check in in another hotel nearby
