“Clean tidy chic and close to the airport”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

This was a modern chic hotel with unusual and interesting décor. We had a little problem finding it as the co-ordinates were not quite correct but maybe only a hundred metres out. This was the last day of our holidays and we treated ourselves to a little luxury. The hotel was near a bus stop which took us into the heart of the city to see the famous monuments and cathedral of Pisa where we ate. Shame really when we got back to the hotel it was buzzing and many people were eating out on the garden area as well as inside. It looked very popular with tourists and local folk and we were sorry we didn't try this restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice and staff who wanted to help you. Nothing was a problem, staff made you a smoothie with whatever ingredients you wanted or if you wanted anything made up specially like an omelette there were staff preparing this for you. Would go back to this hotel and would certainly recommend it to everyone.

Room Tip: Try the restaurant and let me know what I missed!!

Booked this as it came up second on trip advisor and can't would hate to see what the other hotels in Pisa are like if this came up second. Man at reception was not what we could call welcoming. Perhaps he realized we were not impressed and upgraded our room to a suite. This seemed promising. Trying to find out room was a challenge but when we did let's just say black walls, floor and ceiling, black and red curtains and white furniture with hidden switches to switch on a few lights. I have never seen such a dark and unwelcoming room in my life.
We only stayed one night with one drink at the bar and breakfast which were fine and the Barman was charming. The underground parking was appreciated and we were happy to pay the €10 charge for the night.
The place seems to be trying too hard to be hip and trendy and it really doesn't suceed.

We arrived after a late flight in the early hours, and after a bit of driving around to find the hotel were delighted to be quickly checked in and still able to get a drink from the bar. A lovely full breakfast in the morning set us up for a long days sightseeing in Pisa.
The hotel is stylishly designed and the rooms are modern elegance...liked the TV flat screen embedded in the mirrors! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

I read a lot of reviews about the service not being there - the hotel must have listened as it was great whilst we were there. Friendly & helpful. The rooms were as expected - simple but stylish. Good walk in shower.nice and cool in the room. Good view over garden. Don't be put off by the bus ride into town - easy! One block from hotel, and a nice, air conditioned, direct service. Buy tickets at the Tabac in the Pizza restaurant on the corner. We tended to eat a big long lunch in Pisa during the day and snack in the hotel at night. One day we caught the train to Florence (60 mins, and run a couple of times every hour). The night bus back to the hotel was fine too - but make sure you already have tickets as couldn't find anywhere open to buy them.

We stayed in this hotel for two weeks. Modern decor and very clean. Reception staff very helpful.
Three bus routes available to centre of Pisa/ train staton 10 to 15 mins. Tickets €1.10 a journey or carnet of 10 tickets €8.70 available from local kiosk or tabacchi. We then travelled by train to oher places of interest eg Florence, Lucca, Sienna and Tuscan coast.
Shopping centre with supermarket 10 - 15 mins walk or on bus route.
Breakfast very good. We ate in restaurant a few times for lunch and dinner, a bit expensive but very good. Other restaurants available nearby were less expensive and also pleasant.
Hotel has a garden which was nice to relax in , an oasis away from the heat of the city.
We used the free hotel 'shuttle bus' to go to a local swimming pool (entrance fee for pool) about 10 mins travel time.
Staying for two weeks it was important to split our holiday between sight seeing and relaxing and this hotel catered for both.
We would stay here again.

Good hotel near the airport (10min in car). New and modern, the lounge garden let you make a break in your trip. From my point of view, it is perfect for workers or couples for short stays. The best was the breakfast, very complet with natural fruits and a cooker.

Quite simply, dreadful! This hotel really empitomises everything that an establishment that anticipates their guests to only visit once and never need to return to Pisa. So, everything is incredibly expensive, but very poor quality - be it the food, the room or the service.

The directions to the hotel on their website are hopeless and when I mentioned to the concierge that it had taken an hour to find the hotel, he just shrugged his shoulders and wandered off. So we didn't get off to a great start, and that was before I'd even seen the room or had to endure the restaurant 'service' and produce.

The hotel is really trying to be something it's not. It is completely soulless and tries very hard to be modern and 'cool', but what I would have given for a simple tap, flusher or light switch - it was impossible to perform the most simple task in a straightforward manner.

The 2 course dinner we had was pretentious but largely inedible, and took 3 hours to get through - very disappointing. The nail in the coffin was the room. Impossible to find the light switches, so we once we'd turned the room upside down to switch everything off, we found that someone had thought it appropriate to light up the outside of the hotel....... but putting bright lights right outside all the bedroom windows ???????

I've never written a poor review on trip advisor before, but this hotel really affronted every sense from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
