Description: The restaurant Dulcisinfundo is in front of the most suggestive breathtaking view of San Gimignano. Thanks to the medieval milieu and two deep granaries in the old floor, here time seems to have stopped. We propose the typical Tuscan cuisine and the raw materials used in preparing our dishes are of the highest quality and only served in season. Our chefs prepare all our recommended dishes individually and carefully. From the “antipasti” right through to the desserts and ice creams, everything is prepared using only selected products. We are also farm managers and offer you our property’s products. to ensure freshness, authenticity and just- picked flavour. Vegetables, aromatic herbs, pure saffron of S.Gimignano and extra virgin olive oil come from our own farm “ Fortezza de' Cortesi” only 5 km far from the restaurant. Several wines are available and some of them are very prestigious, however it's our pleasure suggesting to our guests high quality level products. We are open from Easter up to first days of November and during the Christmas and end of the year period. The day off is on Wednesday.

Here 6 years ago and still as good as ever.if in Italy eat as the Italians so on the menu go for typical local food of the region.had the flaky pastry with spinach and lasagne- both superb.staff excellent especially "Tom conti" who genuinely appeared interested .do book as several people turned away.
The two things which brought us back- the view and the chocolate spoon!

We had a quiet, delicious dinner here. The inside ambiance is lovely with its stoned walls and arches. Our entrees were very good. Be sure to order the house wine.

we spent about eight days in italy and we ate in different restaurants, my fiancee found the place as a suggestion from Rick Steves book. as soon as we walked in, we felt like we were home, very welcoming staff and described the menu very well (english). we ordered their house lasagna and it was the best i've ever tried. we had their oven roasted chicken which was very delicious as well.
if you ever visit San Gimignano, please don't miss this place......you really won't regret it.

This restaurant is a "farm to table". We were strolling through San Gimignano during the day, keeping an eye open for a nice restaurant for that evening when we spotted this restaurant. Its really small and you could easily pass it and not realise how special a place you were missing out on!! The owner is a lovely man who shows great pride in his produce/restaurant. He has a fabulous Saffron tasting menu.. it's a must try!!!!! The saffron ice cream is to die for!! We were served by an exceptionally pleasant waiter.. unfortunately we didn't get his name. Really hope to return here some day.

We recently arrived late in the evening in San Gimignano from France, tired and hungry. We walked around trying to find a restaurant that was still serving. We came upon this "Oasis" of a restaurant. Quaint, great atmosphere, and welcoming-friendly owners. I happen to mention to the server that I cannot eat gluten. Her reply was straight from Heaven above: "Don't worry, we can make you a gluten-free pasta dish with any of our sauces, any way you like". My pasta was the most flavorful and delicious dish I had had in 8 days! The sauce was a rich and creamy ragu over perfect al' dente' pasta. My two traveling partners raved about their dishes as well. One had the pork meatballs, the other had a dish of stewed wild boar. Simply delicious! Great wine and wonderful mellow jazz playing in the background. A perfect ending to a long day. If you only have one meal in San Gimignano, have it here at DulcisinFundo. A lovely restaurant serving authentic Tuscan cuisine.
