Great meal. Lots of choice, food very good, service is good and all well priced. If in town definitely eat here and try the dishes with tartufo....

“SIMPLY EXCELLENT”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Our second night in a row for dinner at CumQuibus. And, if we had another night in San Gimignano we would have gone back a third time! The food is simply delicious. We started with pasta this time, Pici alla nostra maniera and Tagliolini gota di cinta, excellent! We then had roast lamb for mains, the best ever. Not to mention the little "portions" of various specialities sent by the chef throughout the evening. The staff are all extremely friendly and very professional. Over and above the delicious food I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and lovely background music. This restaurant is a must if in San Gimignano. I highly recommend it and will surely return when in the area again. Assolutamente da non perdere! Grazie per le 2 bellissime serate :-)

“Just what we where looking for”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

My wife and I ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in SG and it was worth it. Your experience in a restaurant cannot be 'as good as' if service and food don't match in standards. We have been welcomed as if we had been there before, clearly knowing that we where passing by tourists. We loved it. Thank you for the experience. This is a must if you are in the area...

“worth its no 1 position.”

Spend 9 days in tuscany. This resturant was one of the highlights.
We booked in advance of our travelling -based soley on the trip advisor reviews.
They are not wrong.
Excellent food, excellent ambience, superb staff.
The bill was less than €100 for 2 inc, wine, coffees and grappa etc..
This place is popular as everyone else has said.
So would suggest booking in advance.

“Great staff”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

This was the first restaurant we stumbled upon and while perusing the menu an Italian gentleman passed by and said: "It's very good". He wasn't wrong. Initially we sat inside (which is very nice and atmospheric) as the terrace was full but the waiter kindly told us when a table became available outside. Very nice food and inbetween courses the waiter bought little mini plates of interesting things (one was a salmon mousse wrapped in wafer thin pear with a bit of fresh ricotta - amazing). We really liked the unexpected bonus of these lovely little creations! I had mentioned in passing that we were pleased to be able to sit outside as it was my mum's birthday. At the end of the meal the waiter bought out a tiramisu with a candle for her - a really lovely touch. The staff were wonderful - so gracious. The speed of service was quite "relaxed" but it wasn't a problem. It seems we were very lucky to stumble upon the nicest restaurant in town!
