We can thoroughly recommend Bruno as a Guide based in San Gimignano. We walked with him through the Tuscan countryside. The wild boar remained elusive but we were lucky enough to have a sighting of footprints, which Bruno pointed out.

Bruno is well-educated in his field. He is obviously very passionate about Tuscany and San Gimignano. His knowledge is extensive and we were given so much information. It is not all serious and we also had plenty of laughs along the way.

Bruno's English is very good. Tell him if you do not grasp what he is saying and he will explain again willingly.

It was great fun walking with a true Italian Guide, who gave us his full attention all of the time.

We spent two days touring Tuscany with Bruno at the end of June. Booking was easy. Bruno picked us up at our hotel daily, and we toured SanGimignano, Volterra, Siena, a local farm, wine tasting, Monterrigioni, and a couple very good restaurants for lunch. Bruno is very knowledgable of the area and wants to ensure you enjoy his country, and your time with him. his rates are very reasonable, especially compared with some of the tourist traps tours in the Amalfi coast. Highly recommended!

My wife and I wanted to know the history and sights of San Gimgnano, we scoured through pamphlet tours we could participate in to do this eventually coming across Bruno Squartini's walking tours. This sounded great so we asked our hotel to contact Bruno and the next day we met Bruno in our hotel lobby ready for our tour. The tour kicked of with a little history lesson about San Gimgnano which was the exact experience we were after. The tour weaved in and around San Gimgnano, we discovered so many places with such cultural and historical depth all from Bruno. His love and passion from the region really evident in his tour was very heart warming. We even tried some local organic wild boar salami and wine which was delicious. If your in Tuscany a guided tour with Bruno is a must.

Our hotel recommended a walking tour with Bruno and it was amazing, walking through the olive trees and vine yards seeing the most fantastic scenery around San Gimigano. Bruno is very passionate about his home town and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Definitely a must when visiting this area!
