“Beautiful Brushetta”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Wow, this is a hidden gem right around the bend from Hotel Leon Bianca. We discovered it by accident but were so drawn in by the beautiful presentation of brushetta. So delicious, highly recommended.

“Nice bar for a snack & drink”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

We took a drink and had a bruschetta at this lovely bar. It is just around the corner of the busy streets of San Gimigiano and a great rest. Just check it out and you will love it.

“Little "hidden" gem in Ginignano”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

This place was the one we rooted for, because of its remoter location in Gimignano. All other places seemed to be packed with tourists, we always try to avoid that.

The place offers (as the name suggests) bread with "salumi" and formaggi "assorted hams and cheeses). There are few other dishes such as a Lasagna and Caprese salad.

The bread was DELICIOUS and as were the salumi. My partner had a bruschetta caprese, which she also enjoyed very much.

The owner/waitress was very friendly and attentive, the place was small and sweet, although a bit cheesy, but it fitted the personality of the owner and thus it was okay for us :)

Prices were absolutely fair, the salumi platter at 12€ and the caprese bruschetta at 6€.

A recommendation to all who are looking for a proper snack rather than for the traditional Antipasti/primi/secondi ritual!

“Excellent traditional Bruschetta”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Delightfully secreted in a side alley just near the central duomo, in the Vicolo dell'oro ( the lane of gold), you will find a selection of very reasonably priced yet very tasty and plentiful varieties of bruschetta.
There are also splendid tomato and cheese creations. Surprisingly not crowded!
We also had a glass of San Gimignano white wine served, ( 3.50 Euro), so a lovely lunch with the maitre who obviously takes pride in her offerings.
