Our stop here was part of a private Tuscany day tour we were on, but was a highlight for sure! Francesco met us immediately upon driving up and talked to us for a bit on the family history and the types of crops they have as well as harvesting, very informative. The setting is gorgeous sitting high in the hills and the buildings are full of history and character. The wine we sampled was very good, so good that we purchased some on the spot along with delicious olive oil. His wife, arranged some light snacks and was very friendly as well! Make sure you make this one of your stops when you are in this area!!

We visited Flavia and Francesco on a few occasions now, and we have been really impressed with their passion and drive to make this experience friendly and informative.
The location is beautiful and the property well looked after, we tasted some of the wines and we bought and we will buy again.
Thank you very much to Flavia and Francesco, see you again soon.
Highly recommended

We visited Capella Sant' Andrea on a private tour. I was just my mom, me and our fantastic guide, Rebecca. Flavia, the owner, showed us the entire operation and told us the history of the home and vineyards. Her husband was busy pressing grapes and we were able to watch and learn about the process. One of the aging cellars is a bunker from WWII which was really cool and some of the wine is made in huge terra cotta vessels! Who knew?! The wine itself is all divine. It is all organic, which is quite impressive. If you are a white wine fan then you must visit San Gimignano. Capella Sant' Andrea's Rialto and Vernaccia de San Gimignano are incredible! The reds are also top quality. Flavia was also able to arrange the shipping home for us and packed everything very well so it made it safely to the U.S. Capella Sant' Andrea was everything I had hope for in a Tuscan winery and more. The small, inviting atmosphere and personal attention from the owners makes it a true gem!

Capella Sant'Andrea was a stop on our wine tour in San Gimignano. What a beautiful area - the scenery was spectacular! Our host, Francesco took us on a tour of the vineyards and explained their family run business. Francesco was very friendly and considerate. After the tour, we had wine tasting of 6 different wines. All the the wines were delicious and we ordered bottles to be shipped back to our home in Connecticut, USA. (The wine arrived within 2 weeks of our visit!) Wonderful host, beautiful scenery and an overall pleasant afternoon. Plan on a visit to this winery if you are in the San Gimignano area.

Nestled in the hills of San Gimignano,,,Cappella Sant'Andrea is a wonderful place to visit...we had the pleasure of meeting Flavia in October of 2013.....she was a delightful hostess...gave us a tour of her winery and offered tastings of her delicious wines....The Vernaccia is lovely and continues to be a favorite of my family and friends......I highly recommend a visit to Cappella Sant'Andrea.
