We stayed in an apartment at Santo Pietro and the location is private, peaceful and with tremendous views. The apartment was typically furnished with old Tuscan furniture and was spacious and clean. The large swimming pool looked a bit tatty but it did its job, was cleaned daily and was warm with lots of space around to accommodate guests. Housekeeping and service was good. Any problems that we had were addressed appropriately. There was a spacious, stone built, well appointed barbeque area with tables and chairs which was excellent. My pointers for improvement are as follows:
a) for late arriving guests, leave a light on in the apartment as we tumbled into ours, down some unexpected stone steps
b) move the rubbish area (often overflowing) away from the barbeque area, who wants to cook food right next to disposed food and other waste products?
c) If you want to have large stone urns acting as ashtrays next to the swimming pool, please be prepared to clean these out dailyMore
