We ate here because it was very close to Palazzo di Valli where we were staying and it was recommended by our innkeepers. In general, we have learned to take innkeepers' restaurant recommendations with some skepticism, as they tend to recommend places operated by their friends rather than by quality. However, this place was really good. The couple who are the proprietors and share the service are an interesting pair - he is genial and slovenly and she is elegant and reserved. The food was surprisingly creative - try their stuffed onions and the "Midieval Duck". The house red wine was quite drinkable and the prices very reasonable. This would have been a real find even if it had not been so convenient.
