Went with my girlfriend last summer and had a blast. Perfect location in Siena, and spotless clean. Breakfast was weak (and really early), but all of Italy was like that for me. Liked it a lot and would go back.

Siena B&B Hospitality is a broker to several B&Bs in Siena which means you never know what your going to get. Unfortunately our room was terrible.

Turns out they overbook (confirmed by booking.com) but Siena B&B lied and said our booked hotel was flooded. They said our new room was at a farm villa with a nice yard. It was not. In fact the owner of the B&B mentioned she had never rented out a room before. We were obviously placed at a home that Siena Hospitality found in desperation.

We booked and paid for a room with private bath within the city walls but that's not what we got.

The B&B hostess was gracious but unfortunately the room was sub par. We can accept a room with a shared bath and outside of the town walls but there were several things that didn't meet basic accommodation. There was no garbage cans or water glasses (not acceptable since I had to take medication). When we asked for an address in case we needed to take a taxi, the owner couldn't provide one. And worst of all, the room didn't feel very secure to us. We were on the bottom floor (below the owner's residence) on a busy intersection with only a simple lock between us and the street.

We had to walk to the room (since we didn't have an address for taxis) and it was much further than we anticipated.

Suffice to say, our time in Siena wasn't the most pleasurable. This wasn't the accommodation we planned on.

I've read some great reviews and some terrible ones. Because they are a broker you are really rolling the dice as to what you're going to get. If you book with Siena B&B Hospitality, be prepared to gamble.

We stayed at this apartment in September and really enjoyed our time there. It is more of a shared apartment stay than a B&B, but the location was great and the view from our room and from the communal balcony was amazing!! Be ready for the gruelling stairs to get there though :) Our room was huge, clean and had a good array of brochures which we found handy. We had a separate shared bathroom but it was clean and large and we never had to wait to use it. There was free wifi in the room which was a great bonus. There wasn't really a breakfast, just a few biscuits and cereal I think in the communal kitchen so we chose to go out for breakfast instead. We had a small issue where our key to the entrance door broke late at night - but it was resolved quickly and without too much fuss. I guess it's just a situation that demonstrates the difficulties of not having any staff on site. But all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought it was great value.

The bed is beautiful and comfy but has a ditch in the middle where the two small beds meet. The bathroom is clean as a whistle but the pipes let in a sewer smell. The shower is nice and hot but not very tall (my head can touch the top) or very wide. There is a modern flat panel TV but the remote doesn't work. There is a perfect little room safe but it doesn't work either. There are two ornate chairs but they are covered in plastic. The entry way has a beautiful door but there is no handle to pull it closed and is unlit so a flashlight comes in handy. The promised hairdryer is not in the room and instead filed away in a common area. The lady who checked us in was nice but the B&B people are never around so you can't ask questions like how to check-out or get a taxi to the train station. All in all, it's a cozy little place with a perfect location and homey feel; it's just a little quirky.

We arrived at Siena by train and called upon arrival. We were supposed to go get a bus to the city centre and call again when we got there. Called again, had to go somewhere else... called again... well, was this the Sienese hospitality? After waiting way to long on some piazza (I'll be there in 5 minutes... sure) we were finally met by someone from the B&B organisation. She brought us to our place, located on the 5th floor of an authentic Siena house. The room was basic, but OK; the bathroom extremely cramped, the shower was practically placed above the toilet. Breakfast was a joke, but hey, it's Italy...

This was our second trip to Siena, but first stay at Siena B&B. Accommodations were great. We requested a room near to the Campo, but quiet. And our requests were met perfectly. Room was quite large by Italian standards, shower was small (but as we expected). Breakfast was adequate - great coffee, yogurt, and packaged pastries. We had access to the kitchen, which was helpful. We didn't have internet, but there was a place around the corner. Cheap and convenient (although they do close around 8pm). Siena is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoy the smaller cities and prefer to day-trip from a central location. Siena B&B was most helpful in determining train schedule & day-trip suggestions.

After the first unpleasant suprises, we were finally satisfied. First of all, it's very difficult to park in Siena. You can't get to the hotel by car, you have to drag your luggage and same time look for the right street. When we arrived to the right place we found out it's only a reception and our room is 400m, completely somewhere else. We were really annoyed about carrying our stuff through the city by walk. The room was nice though. We were supposed to have a shared bathroom but got private. Had to climb 4 floors in addition to our walk. Inspite of all, the room was nice, breakfast alright and we loved Siena (and we didn't prefer San Gimignano as many people do). We recommend to eat in Osteria down via Rossi (no. 77-79). Regarding parking, outside of the walls it's for free. Inside there are parking lots for approx. 1.6 EUR per hour.
