Very good food. The wine list is very large, with beautiful wines.
The service is perfect. Well located, close to the Campo.

This restaurant was empty when I found it on a cold December evening. I ordered a pasta with bacon and a red wine reduction that was to die for and cinza (pork shoulder) that might have been the most flavorful cut of meat I've ever tasted. The staff was attentive and courteous. It was a wonderful, flavorful dinner.

Is this charming place! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Had the local fare of pici in a flavorful, simple tomato sauce! If I ever make it back to Sienna, I will come back to this place.

Tourists of Siena, abandon your overpriced cafes, forsake your kitsch pastas, spit out your jug wines! About ten meters from the Campo, in a beautiful medieval building, there is a delicious and calm restaurant offering creative Italian food at a completely reasonable price. The service is charming, and the selection of Italian wines is outstanding.

The quality of the wine selection should not perhaps be a surprise: The restaurant is owned by Andrea and Paola Cortonesi, who created and run the excellent Montalcino winery, Ucceliera. (The winery, in the beautiful village of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, is also worth a special trip.)

The menu includes lots of seafood, a mix of standard and creative preparations, and a possibility of a lighter meal than what you might find in many other Tuscan restaurants. I only stop short of raving because of a marked tendency by the kitchen staff to underseason the food, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Came here after watching the dress rehearsal of the Palio. All the servers were very helpful and accommodating even answering our questions about the race the upcoming day. We had truffle risotto, spaghetti with meat sauce and tagliatelle with mushroom, along with the chef's sampling of desserts. Everything was delicious- especially the mushroom pasta! Recommend this to anyone! The price was also very reasonable, so this was a great experience.
