My wife and I, along with 2 other couples, took Lella's (and Julia's) cooking class in mid May of 2013. There were 2 other women there as well. We can't say enough good things about it. Lella spoke Italian only, while it was ably translated by Erica. We made a beautiful meal that included a classic soup dish, Pappa col Pomodoro, Pici pasta made from scratch with a mushroom and sausage sauce, a pork dish with stuffed herbs and potatoes followed by Tiramisu and in honor of our anniversary, Lella made us a strawberry cream cake, and even opened up champagne for us. The entire group had a great time, in this hands on class. Lella, Julia (the younger chef) and Erica (our translator) were all personal and warm. It was the highlight of our trip (all 6 of us). Highly recommended. Various details: The school is located down a rather steep hill. The classroom is modern and clean. We were stuffed when we left.
