We hosted a wine tasting and dinner here for 60 ppl and were extremely happy. The place is very beautiful, the food was excellent, the wine tasting was done very well by the Enoteca. We and our guests couldn't have been happier. Definitely worth the little walk from Siena city centre to drink some wine, eat some good food and enjoy the beauty of this historic place (located in the old fort). If you come by, ask to have a look at the wine cellar.

Having pre-booked this because the reviews read well, it is a shame that we found the evening so disappointing. The restaurant was empty other than us for the first 45 mins - not that I have a problem with that, but the service was appalling. We were shown to our table and asked the waiter for his recommendation in respect of two wines we were trying to decide between. He told us he has no description for them! When the food arrived I went to ask for black pepper and found the waiter sat on a chair just inside the restaurant door and the gentleman that had greeted us at reception busy on his mobile. Not that I expect them to stand by the table but maybe to look remotely interested would have been good. The food was fine but we left after the main due to our lack of interest and clearly theirs.

Great spot for lunch with its quiet setting in the old Florentine fortress removed from the tourist bustle of Siena. Interesting menu and great wine list.

My wife and I went to Ristorante Enoteca Millevini for lunch and had a wonderful meal. First, our
server, Nico, was wonderful. He never hurried us and was extremely good at explaining the menu and wines. I asked him if we could share plates and his reply was "why not?". We started off with an Antipasti Terra which included Fig Panforte, two types of cheese and honey. Delicious. We also
each had a glass of white Tuscan wine that was recommended by the chef for this dish.
Next we split chicken that was marinaded and also delicious. Once again we each had a glass of wine that the chef suggested, in this case a red wine. And of course we had Dulce (dessert) that was also very good.
Including the 4 euro tip, our bill was 61 euros. We paid a little more for each glass of wine that was suggested for the dish than just having the house wine.
Also, it was a beautiful day in Siena and we sat outside in the shade of an umbrella on a nice terrace. Nothing like observing the Thyme for our chicken dish being snipped fresh from the garden as we sipped our 1st glass of wine!
