Stayed there one night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Air conditioned. Easy parking.

The location is a few miles from the city center so they recommended we drive instead of walk in the summer heat. They recommended a place to park where you could park for the whole day for free.

A last-minute change in plans while in Tuscany forced my mother and me to find a new place to stay. We headed into Siena from the north looking for any open hotel. At the first place we stopped, it was booked and the receptionist recommended Arcobaleno. Before we checked in, we thought we might stay only one night as we made new plans for our time in Tuscany, but we enjoyed the hotel so much that we stayed five nights!

The hotel is conveniently located near an autostrada entrance and was perfect for launching our daytrips in Tuscany. We went to Siena's city center for one day, and the receptionist, Linda, gave us excellent suggestions for free parking areas. She also recommended a wonderful restaurant for lunch, Papei Trattoria, where we at the tasty local pasta, pici.

Laura, one of the hotel owners, was truly wonderful. She provided excellent service and gave us great recommendations for sightseeing (places that we might have missed on our own). We looked forward to our friendly conversations with her, and her warm sense of humor.

The breakfast is excellent and well stocked each day. And the restaurant below the hotel is convenient and the food is exceptional.

By the end of the trip it felt like home! It was a comfortable, warm place and a real gem. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for just one night while traveling through Tuscany. The rooms were clean, well-maintained and comfortable. My mother and I shared a room with 2 twin beds which are really more like nice cots. So they are a little bouncy and quite soft, but these types of beds are common in Italy so we did not mind. The breakfast was a typical light Italian one with pastries, fruit, yogurt and cappuccino. The breakfast room is a sun room with a lovely view and there is a nice patio area with comfortable seating. The parking is right on the backside of the building and it is only 10 minutes drive or less to historic Siena. This place is simple but dependably comfortable for a two star.

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms but it's a bit out of town. We had to take cabs into Siena or walk (about a 30 min walk). The breakfast is free and decent (nothing hot). I'd stay here again but might look for something closer to the center of town. This hotel does have parking.

Small hotel about a 10 min. drive into old Sienna. Small but clean rooms. Breakfast a bit skimpy but OK. Limited free parking on site. Adjacent restaurant not owned by hotel. Overpriced.

The Hotel Arcobaleno, located in North Siena, Italy is a nice refuge. Sisters Claudia and Laura take turns manning the front desk and they are charming, knowledgeable and very helpful. There is a restaurant below the hotel that is excellent, also with a great, fun-loving staff. About a safe, 20 minute walk from the main Campo Hotel Arcobaleno is convenient and just off the Autostrada for those who have a car. Plenty of parking is available. Room 303 has a beautiful view out over the Tuscan countryside.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding - most of the wedding party stayed here. Claudia literally was the wedding planner, helping get flowers, arrange vans to the main Piazza, choosing the restaurant, and making sure everything went flawlessly. For her alone, I would go back to this hotel and recommend it. Its quite the bargain at 90 Euros for a triple, but it was quite loud, the rooms very small, the shower a complete joke, the hairdryer downright scary, but it was clean and the beds comfortable. They have parking, will arrange tours, is a short walk from the train station (no shuttle), and serve a decent breakfast in the lobby. The outdoor patio is quite nice, they have internet access, and small playground for small children. The coffee is quite marginal, which is odd for Italy. I would not recommend the restaurant downstairs as it is not run by the hotel and the staff was downright hostile. There seemed to be some kind of spat happening between the hotel and the restaurant. The hotel staff is really amazing, incredibly helpful, and will make sure your stay in Siena the best possible.
