“a gem in tuscany”
Reviewed 19 April 2011

Have just returned after spending 7 days at this hotel. What a lovely experience3, great mixture of people and the staff were fantastic!!!! Mario....thankyou so much for sending us on the lovely little trips to unseen Tuscant villages...it was perefect. \The staff at this hotel are just so helpful and friendly linen and towles changed EVERY DAY!!!! Breakfast was a feast and although a little expensive ( Tuscany is!) we had dinner two evenings , but it was lovely. My only negative about this hotel is lack of free Wi-Fi. But hey who wants to spend there holiday on the Interenet!!!

Dear Guest,

Thanks very much for your time in writing such a beautiful comment! We really hope to welcome you back in the near future in Siena so that you can have the chance to taste again our special dinner at the restaurant!
About Wi-Fi, it's not free because it's a high quality service lets you connect your devices by the same password in different parts in the centre of Siena.
Best regards from Tuscany

Great staff, good breakfast, great gardens for kids to explore, easy free parking (lots of it) but 30 minute walk to Siena Town Center. The hotel claims to be 4 star but I think based on our room (very clean but it needs a renovation) it is actually a good 3.
Positives: Staff, breakfast, easy parking, gardens.
Negatives: Walking distance to Siena (does help you burn off lunch). Do not provide FREE WIFI.

Unbelievable the value for this beautiful hotel. Large room with nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast in elegant dining room (dinner was very good but more than we really wanted to spend). It's a little bit of a hike to the main part of Siena, but we liked walking off the meals we ate here in Italy anyway.

Beautiful hotel, nice pool and great views from terrace of bar (perfect for breakfast, dinner or a late drink). It is 10 min from centre but it is a short bus from outside hotel or a 10 euro taxi. I would def go back to this hotel- it is molto bene!!

The Hotel Garden in Siena, Italy is a lovely oasis. Sitting on a hill with lovely gardens and a pool (in season). Very helpful front desk staff. Very nice breakfast and restaurant with attentive service. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to the Piazza dell Campo in old Siena.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The grounds and the pool were gorgeous! The problem we had was the room. It looked like a converted boarding school and the shower was not that fantastic. I have to say the dinner on the terrace was something I will remember for a very long time to come.
