We rented a two bedroom apartment at Villa Il Borghetto for three nights and must say that we were extremely comfortable. As it is a proper apartment, we had a kitchen which was considerately stocked with all the basics like good coffee, a stove top coffee maker, plates/silverware, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. The kitchen and a small living room make up one space, providing for all creature comforts.
My friend and I each had a bedroom, and shared a bathroom. The shower was wonderful, with soft water (not at all like the hard we’re used to in the US).
The hotel is run by a lovely family (brother and sister duo) who are attentive, friendly, and very helpful and can speak various languages.
The Villa has parking available (not in he Main Street) and there are no elevators. We did have a room facing the main street (just above the Villa entrance) which caused for some noise due to morning traffic on weekdays.
All in all, felt as if we were home and had a perfect stay!More
