On a kind of rainy day although spring time, we are back to Siena from Montalcino (where we had lovely wines and unforgetable snacks!) and it's almoust lunch time. We are not in the mood for spending hours in finding a spot where to park - on a very busy day in Siena - and so we simply stop at a place that sounded authentic. AL TOCCO was recommended by some young fellows we met in Pienza and wow! We really got jummy PICI and a superb home-made pasta!
The sauce was fresh and tasty, the pasta the best we had in the week. Price is very good and ambience kind of cosy. A very good option if you are around there. Ask for Davide. He sounds like the boss there. Frendly and offering you a little shot after an Espresso. Try it!
