5 of us were looking for a light lunch in Gubbio on a foggy Autumn day. The place looked nice and the sign outside claimed that they serve "torta al testo" "degustazioni di salumi e formaggi" and salads.
The prices on the menu looked fair so we stepped in and we ordered 2 platters of mixed salamis and 2 of mixed cheeses, 3 glasses of wine and a small bottle of water. The salamis were not specially good, but at least it was good quantity, but we were served two plates with bits of unfrequent cheese.
We asked for Torta al testo instead of bread and we were said that they only had 3 bits left and that they were keeping it in case someone ordered a stuffed torta al testo... only when we said we we would stand up and go we were brought the torta al testo that was later charged 2 euros per piece!
Unfriendly service, passable food, good wine, too expensive.
