Only stayed 2 nights but would have been great for longer period as the room has a small kitchen area and plenty of space to live and work in the room.
Staff are helpful. Parking is underground and costs 20 Sfr per day which is a bit expensive but it is secure. Free travel passes are issued and the city is small enough to not need a car really.
Bathroom is nice with a shower over the bath. Kitchen has large fridge, smaller freezer box, microwave, electric hob and dishwasher. All crockery and utensils are there with washing up liquid. Good coffee machine is also provided. Small supermarket just over the road.
Bed folds away to create sofa and give more space.

These Adagio apartments are usually a great option. The Basel City Aparthotel is a good choice. Book in advance for best rates. Includes free city transport coupons for duration of stay. Parking is 20chf a day.

Clean and modern. Well supplied kitchen with microwave, kettle etc. No oven. Dishwasher. Great big bathtub.

Bed was fairly comfortablish. It's a pull down Murphy bed so those are never super comfy.

Good location. 15 minute walk into the old centre but one block from a Main Street with grocery stores, Starbucks , restaurants etc. The tram line is right there if you don't fancy the walk but the bridge views are great. Can also take the little boat ferry for 1.60chf which is a fun option.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable five night stay at hotel while visiting our daughter. Having a kitchenette with our room was wonderful since we stored breakfast items there. We have two more short stays booked there over the next week or so as we interrupt our visit to Basel with short trips out of the city.

The rooms are actually small apartments, really well equipped with the bed converting to a sofa if you wish for daytime use. You get free travel passes for use on buses/trams but Basel is fairly compact so we didn't use them. We left the car in the hotel's underground car park (20 CHF per night) and walked everywhere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it's a short walk to the bridge that leads into the heart of the city. Helpful reception staff. Only downside was that for 24 CHF each the breakfast selection was really poor. Plenty of bakeries/supermarkets nearby so I'd recommend making you own which we did for the second night.
