Stumbled on this restaurant in Bern, it was away from the main Tourist strip and full of locals (a good sign). They easily accommodated our poor German and provided a menu in English; the waitress was also excellent and coped well. Overall, the staff were all very good and polished; service was excellent and included an ability to cope with food intoleranceswithout effort. The food was modern interpration of classic dishes: veal escallopes, glorious rabbit, melt in the mouth scallops. Presentation was superb and intricate, the detail in each dish being obvious; this did leadto a wait between courses. A good wine list and a recommendation matched the main dishes perferctly.
