“Rich collection of ceramics and china”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

The Ariana museun is a very beautiful neo-barocco building with an adorable collection of glass, china and ceramics. Have a cup of coffee on the balcony with a close view on the United Nations' Palace. If u r lucky, u can see the majestic Mont Blanc mountain peak on the horizon.

“Beautiful Place”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

I liked very much the parc and museum. You breathe fresh air and enjoy the nice place. Liked the architecture of the building and beautiful "voute". Great ceramic collections and traditional rooms. Free entrance except for private expositions.

“Ceramics”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

This is is housed in a beautiful building. On entry to the museum, the sheer scale of it is breathtaking, especially the marble posts that flank the upper level. Each post has been carved differently, with a 'sister' post nearby. The variety and layout of the ceramics is phenomenal. There is something to suit all tastes. There was an exhibition on Islamic pottery for €8 with some written English to describe the pieces. The cafe is on the second floor, all staff were friendly and helpful even with my basic French speaking skills. I would definitely go there again. Easy to navigate from Geneva Cornivan, hop on an urban bus to Nations, (number 15) get off at the last stop. Once you see a massive broken chair sculpture opposite the United Nations building cross the road and walk up the hill, garden and museum on the right.
