cleaning service didn't even knock before entering the room
unfriendly front desk
in general: if you need the location in close proximity to the central station - it might be the only option otherwise try different hotel. I've stayed before in Geneva in Ibit Centre Nations and Petit Lancy - both of them were light years before this one in every aspect to make your stay more pleasant

The Hotel was recently re-opened and is an adequate place to stay for one night. But don't expect anything particular. You get your clean room which is equipped with those essential things but nothing more. Breakfast is included but for this you have to go to another hotel's bar which also serves breakfast for own guests. So the place is crowded and the selection is just standard. Most negative point: there is not even a vending machine for water, softdrinks and snacks. Considering all these aspects the value for money received is mediocre.
This is a standard Ibis type place, very close to the station. Its not particularly well located as you still have to walk a few minutes to reach it from the nearest tram line. If you have luggage its not great. For the space its expensive but then Geneva is not a cheap city.
The lift was small and had a strange foul smell around it. The staff were not particularly friendly, but not rude either.
The Hotel was in a great Location for doing things in the centre of Geneva. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok, basic design and ok for the weekend. Bar area near reception which is good after a long day walking about. Hotel also offered train tickets which helped to get around the city.
The hotel is walking distance to all of Geneva's sights, including the lake. Ideal for a short stay, the only negatives were that the daytime reception staff have a very poor grasp of English. Undesirables tend to loiter along the road from the hotel late at night.
