Exceptional, stylish hotel a short walk to the old town and downtown on the good side of the river. Close to trams, museums and plentiful nightlife, the hotel is often remodeled and has extraordinary mattresses and all the small touches of a great swiss hotel. Planpalais is the frequent site of temporary attractions with a quality flea market Wednesdays and Saturdays. Hotel has free wi-fi and the restaurant should have two Michelin stars with unique risottos and imaginative food successes. Their service is the best quality available with management always on site and skilled, well trained personnel the rule. A great place to stay.

Hotel Tiffany is a small hotel, with an original Art Deco interior. A great place to stay with a romantic touch -- nicer in my view than the big luxury hotels on Geneva's left bank. Staff, eg at reception, was very helpful and kind. The rooms were above average large for a city hotel, quiet and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat with salmon, French butter, fresh OJ etc. All in all a good hotel at a reasonable price. Location is excellent: a short walk to the Old Town or Vieille Ville. A place to return to and I can recommend.

We stayed two nights at the Tiffany and would highly recommend it. The location is convenient to the old city, just a short walk to the park and not too far to the waterfront area. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable bedding and the bath was large and nicely tiled with art nouveau style tiles. Most importantly, the room was quiet, with no street noise or noise from the hallway. There is free internet access in a lovely little library right next to a cozy bar area. We would suggest dinner at the restaurant Les Armures on the Rue du Puits-St-Pierre in the old city and lunch at the Cafe du Centre on the Place de Molard.

We stayed here for a night in late September and got a fantastic rate on the internet. The room was nice and comfortable with nice toiletries in the bathroom and a comfy bed. Staff on reception were always helpful and charming and spoke good English. A free ticket to use the excellent public transport system was included - please note this includes the little yellow boats which go back and forth over the lake! Great fun.

There was only one snag - in Geneva everybody smokes, and the bedding and the towels both subtly smelt of smoke, which became gradually apparent and was quite unpleasant if you are a non-smoker (this was a no-smoking room). The hotel need to get somebody on their housekeeping staff who doesn't smoke and can tell when this is the case. Are they perhaps stored in a room where people smoke? This was the only factor which let down otherwise a nice hotel which was fantastic value for money, and I would certainly return for the same rate.

My husband attended a meeting in Geneva and I went with him. This hotel is very lovely and comfortable. My husband picked it because I like the Tiffany Style of deco and the lobby is very beautiful. This hotel is a good base to explore the city. I spent many hours walking through the downtown and around the lake. The beds are very comfortable, although my American husband thinks the room was small, I thought it was standard for a European hotel.
