“Very convenient location”
Reviewed 10 April 2009

I stayed in Warwick for 2 nights while in Geneva for business. The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city, right across from the main train station, which would be of particular convenience to those who are to travel to other places by train. It is also only about 5 minutes to Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) on foot.
The hotel does not offer top luxury, does not have such facilities such as a swimming pool, etc., however, is perfectly clean, has well maintained rooms, offers a smiling service and a very good and filling breakfast that would make you leave the table much content. There are also various restaurants around the hotel with many options to choose from.
One thing I particularly liked was that at the reception upon check-in, we were provided with free passes to the public transportation within the city (I do not know whether this is something all hotels in the area would offer to their patrons).
Hotel Warwick is overall of good value in its own league and I suggest the place for both business and leisure travelers.

Stylish, nice clean rooms - lots of channels on the television in multiple languages - free access to a couple fitness centers in the City - completely no-smoking - Directly across from the train station. Good international breakfast. Nice staff. Decent price. Nothing to complain about. When the weather's nice, it's an easy enough walk to the old town. Would stay again. The hotel is part of a group that has locations around the world, and I'll take a look at them the next time I need a hotel while traveling.

I arrived in Geneva to lots of rain so wasn't sure how wet I would get in walking from the central station to the hotel. I needn't have worried - the Warwick is across the street from the station entrance - closer than I thought having looked at the map and directions, which was a bonus.

I arrived on an early flight and wasn't sure whether I would be able to check in (at 10am rather than standard 2pm). It wasn't a problem. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and I was in my room within 30 minutes of landing at the airport.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the city - there are numerous trams and buses that stop at the railway station and of course if you want to travel further afield you can take a train. You get a free public transport card when checking in at the hotel which is good for unlimited travel of public transport in Geneva - this is a great idea and covers your return to the airport. Also, don't forget to obtain your free ticket from the machine in the airport arrivals hall, which entitles you to 80mins travel on public transport in Geneva.

The hotel was clean and the staff attentive and friendly. The room I stayed in was on the 2nd floor and was also clean with more than adequate facilities. The bed was very comfortable too!

Although I only stayed here for one night, I would be happy to stay here again and would recommend the hotel.

Geneva is an expensive city and the warwick is an expensive hotel, especially given the decline in the value of the U.S. Dollar.
Nevertheless, the Warwick can't be beat for location. It is directly opposite the railroad station with its direct connection to the airport and an easy walk to the lake. We had booked a superior room for three nights on the seventh floor for myself, my wife and son. Like most European hotel rooms, it was a bit tight but workable. However, the room which faced the street, had a problem with the air conditioning. The hotel staff was very accomodating and moved us to another room on the same floor with a nice view of the lake. I would give them a thumbs-up.

we stayed at this hotel it was great stay for me & my wife during our honeymoon the staff was friendly but still you can feel the french nature in thier personality but overall the stay was great its right front of the train station & close to it the meet point to the excursion trips this saved alot of time we picked this hotel because of its resonable price close to 160 $ per night considering its 4 star hotel & the hotel provides you with free tickets to use the train for your entire stay with them.

for the breakfast it was acceptable didnt have lunch or dinner at the hotel.

I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were extremely courteous and polite. The room was spacious and had some really cool touches such as the coffee machine (why don't all hotels have one?) and complimentary chocolates. I did not have a room facing the lake but did not need one as I had spent a couple of days in Lausanne previously. I liked the "cosiness" of the hotel and I must say it is very rare but I had no complaints whatsoever and I would come here again if I stayed in Geneva. Congratulations to the hotel for maintaining such a good level of service!

This hotel has the best location, on the opposite side of the road from the central train station. Extremely easy to find and 5 mins walk to the lake. It could not be more convenient.

The outside of the hotel was dated and grubby, but inside was a real surprise, considering the reasonable price. The room was clean and bathroom had all facilities.

We had a room on the street, but we weren't disturbed by the road noise at all. The air con worked well, had a nice flat screen TV and all business access points.

The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. The food was really good value and delicious. We'd definitely recommend the restaurant.
