Maybe Saturday isn't the best time to go but when we went the place was virtually empty, just two other tables occupied. Our food was fine, though pricey, but despite the lack of customers the service was incredibly slow - our waitress spent most of the evening arguing (quietly!) with the chef or standing in the street smoking, There are better restaurants around!

they have nice food, friendly service and no surprises. It's a small place and easy to miss. Been there a few times and it's always been great!

The meal here was to dream about and was unforgettable. Delicious food, I had the foie gras followed by the duck. Everything was beautifully presented and accompanied by a good serving of perfectly cooked vegetables We were a group of four and all of us were extremely happy with our great night out. The service was without fault the waiter spoke perfect English and was very helpful and pleasant. We had such a hard time deciding on dessert we chose 4 and shared them between us - all were divine!

I took 3 friends using a Buy-Club voucher and did not know what to expect. What we got was outstanding service by a young man who was the perfect waiter - attentive and informative, even in English. The menu was superb and the choices of starter, main and dessert were not limited by the voucher. We had crevette and salmon salad and a foie gras as starters - perfect. Filet des perches; duck with framboise jus and filet with mourilles for mains - all were perfectly cooked, well dressed and sauced (perhaps the duck could have a been a little more rare). Desserts were fabulous - isle de flottant, tiramisu, pannacotta and creme brûlée - which we all shared to taste. No problems with space that we felt, although the restaurant was full. It was a great experience and one to repeat. Highly recommended

I wish to start with the food. This was the only positive point, cooked perfectly, the dishes were savoury and well presented.
Now ... I have never seen such an unpleasant and unfriendly service in a restaurant. This coming from what seemed to be the owners wife. Never a smile and just about enough words to put us uncomfortable. If eating in a restaurant resumes to the food, this would have been fine, however this place is not cheap and we felt unwanted to such an extent that we chose to have coffees elsewhere. Clearly one of the waiters, more fiendly, had resigned and therefor was jolly, at the same time part of the staff in the kitchen was being fired, and we all where very much involved in that. This is not acceptable and did not enhance the atmosphere with any positive aspects.
Definitely a place I shall never return to. And this restaurant does not deserve the name it gives itself!
So, for that kind of money, do go and enjoy yourself somewhere else if you wish to have a joyful evening.
