Hotel prices in Geneva are ridiculous. In my experience they are mostly of a high standard but very overpriced. I paid about £155 for 1 nights stay here B&B and that seems like a lot of money for what I got.
It's not a bad hotel but it's fairly tired and would benefit from some modernisation. Equipment and decor is old and outdated but not poor quality, breakfast was average.
As has been said before, the location couldn't be better it takes no time at all from airport to train station to hotel...extremely convenient.
The price is not high for Geneva to be fair but I just didn't feel that I was getting value for money. In the UK I would expect to pay £70 max (£100 in London) for a room and hotel of this standard.

This hotel locate just 20 steps from the main train station. They have rooms with kitchenette where the maid will clean or not clean the dishes for you, depending on her wish. but the kitchen itself will be cleaned evey day.
The hotel is very clean but the front desk is always besu and need to be patient in the line. The bathrooms are not so safe, especially for senior citizen. You may have some annoyance from the noise of the trains. Single beds are very very narrow.

Located right outside the train station. It strategic location ease the walking strain from taking trains as well as the local trams. The rooms are situated at the other remote side of the hotel away from Reception making it a bit lacking of security sense going back during night time. The room was nice, quiet (I could hardly hear the train noise) with adequate deco and a side kitchen space good for warm cup of coffee or wine.
Although expensive, nothing beat the fact that it just right to the train station!

It is difficult to find a hotel in Geneva that is less than $200 a night, especially near the city center. The location on the back side of the train station is extremely convenient. And even though your room could face the trains, they really ARE very quiet (hey, it's Switzerland). The studio side of the building is separated, you get a small kitchen and sitting area. No, it's not the Ritz, but it's not $800 a night either. What I love about the place is that it is an easy walk just about anywhere, and if you have a plane to catch, you can roll out of bed, pack your suitcase and be at the airport (via the train) in less than 10 minutes.
Cautionary note: Geneva is not safe anymore. Like Madrid, watch your wallet, especially getting on and off trams and busses. Don't walk around a lot of areas alone late at night. A shame since I remember when it was a golden city that was extremely safe. One would think that with all the diplomats in the area the municipality would want to clean up the place and make it a showcase. I'm not sure why they don't. Nevertheless. Montbrillant is a quiet respite right in the middle of everything.

Room Tip: Get the studios if they are available...

The hotel , just like Geneva itself, is beautiful, expensive for what you get. The accomodations were very nice, but a little bit cramped, but great view of the fountain spouting from the lanai. But I paid the equivalent of just over a $1,000 dollars US for only 3 nights, and there was absolutely nothing special. I work in vacation travel here in Hawaii, and spent far less for the likes of Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, Turtle Bay, and the St. Regis, each of which are different islands, and all provided more in terms of accommodations as well as service and benefits.
