You have to go to this small village, most of the areas are open to public and it is a small fee to enter, but the enormity of what they are doing there is beyond belief, the Hadron Collider is massive and you can see it, the birthplace of the internet explained and other deep and meaningful things are explained, a fab morning well spent.

Do not hesitate to visit. It's a simple Tram ride, which is free if you get your tourist travel card. A/C on the Tram and in the exhibits. Lots of interactive bits in French and English. Clean toilets. Seriously, I don't know why these aren't rammed with visitors.

Anybody visiting geneva should go there! It is a great place for kids and grown ups. It offers a clear explanation as to why this project is so important for humanity. Do miss the oportunity!

If you like physics then you'll enjoy this, there's an interesting 6 minute film about how the earth came to be, and some cool pod seats to sit in. If you're not into science then could be a bit boring.

Absolutely mind blowing, the setting itself is very unique, and during the film shown regularly acts as a kind of planetarium which is very beautiful. It also manages to be very educational, and is suitable for all ages. Completely recommend a visit :)
