it is a humanitarian institution based in genva.it works for international relief activities as well as promotes the importance of universal humanitarian laws n principles.they do huge relief work in areas affected by armed conflict-victims like war wounded, prisoners, refugees, etc as well as reunite missing families, raise public awareness of the dangers of mines n explosives.it was such a honor to be here n see this place.the relief work carried out by these volunteers is just outstanding.

I was reluctant to go to this museum. However, I enjoyed it and learned quite a bit regarding the work that is performed worldwide by the Red Cross and the Red Crescent. I recommend this museum as a side trip when in Geneva.

The museum is incredibly well done - the interactive nature of it makes it so easy to enjoy! The individual testimonies were powerful and I liked the fact that the Red Cross wasn't presented as a perfect organisation. The service I received was exceptional - one of the receptionists lent me his personal Geneva parking disc so that I wouldn't get fine!

I've never been that sensitive in visiting museums. But Red Cross museum made to be interactive that it feels like you listen the story from the person directly. Some stories told me about great humanity actions and carry real touchy messages.

This was an interesting museum of the history of the International Red Cross and how it serves all across the world. I only knew they provided relief from hurricanes, etc. - but they are involved in humanitarian efforts all over the world.
