If you are a scientist freak, this is your place. you have an excellent collection of antique science experiments. Good for all ages, and good for all tastes. There are also some experiments outside.
A must see.

“World class museum of scientific instruments”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

Do not miss a visit to this museum (free entry) which holds a very fine collection of scientific instruments and hosts occasional temporary exhibitions. Beautifully located in a villa in the Perle du Lac park. Have a nice stroll from the city center along the lake to the museum. Enjoy lunch at the Perle du Lac restaurant in the parc and continue on to the excellent Botanical Garden (enjoy lunch at the garden restaurant as an alternative).

The setting was very diverse and introduced variety of historical events and equipment from the past. No entrance fee or guiding, so you are able to see and feel things on your own peace.

“Free museum with a selection of interesting engaging displays”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

The History of Science Museum is the only one of its kind in Switzerland. It is also an excellent display case for the city’s scientific past, which was particularly outstanding in the 18th century. Shaded by the trees of the Perle du Lac Park, this museum is situated in the Villa Bartholoni (the city’s most beautiful neo-classic house, built in 1828). Inside the villa, the rooms are decorated with wall paintings which are among the most accomplished of the Pompeiian style in the country.
The collections are composed of numerous old scientific instruments (microscopes, barometers, sun dials, astrolabes, etc.), books and documents bequeathed by the families of Geneva’s scientists and scholars
