It is not easy to find a decently priced and clean hotel option in Geneva. This Ibis hotel is a good choice for those who need to stay between the airport and the train station.

The location is ok but if you arrive by train you should be ready to walk 10 minutes uphill from the station. If you have a lot of luggage, it is better to take bus 8 to OMS and get off at Canonnière.

I arrived around 7pm on a weekday, there was only one person at the reception so the check-in was very slow. He finally had to get some help to serve all the people waiting.

Overall this is a pleasant hotel, with several good points:
- Renovated room, functional, clean, quiet
- Free transport card
- Free internet
- Nice TV channel selection

There are a few things I did not like:
- Bathroom : no tissues (typical in most Ibis hotels), no shelf to put toilet case
- Breakfast : canned fruit salad (maybe it is not always like this)
- Not many eating options around the hotel, you have to go near the train station

I stayed four nights while in business at a UN agency. The hotel is super clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I thought the breakfast was much better than most other places I have stayed, typical Swiss fare but very good quality and plenty available. Great location right on the #8 bus line and 10 minute walk to the train station. To be sure, it is not the lap of luxury - maybe if Ikea ran a hotel this is what it would look like. But I was very pleased to get this much for the price I paid, and I will stay there again on my next trip.

It was very easy to book the hotel via booking .com with having to pay upfront. The check was smart and seamless. The hotel was simple and clean. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good with easy access to the city centre and the United Nations at Geneva. I recommend the hotel.

This was our first vacation trip to Geneva and the hotel was surprisingly easy to find though walking uphill from the train station I was glad I only had one piece of luggage. We ended up taking the bus most of the rest of the stay as the stops were so convenient and the rides were free. The hotel amenities are basic but everything was very comfortable and spotless. Service was efficient. We had one breakfast there which was nothing special but quite adequate, and one dinner consisting mostly of food from a microwaved carton but tasted fine. There is a grocery store across the street by the bus stop and a Lebanese restaurant/pastry/pizza restaurant next door. Wifi was good. I would have liked the room cooler at night and was unable to turn it down any further but this was minor. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed for 3 days in this hotel. The check-in/check-out process has been very quick. Overall the rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel itself is around 15 minutes walk away from the city center which was great. Only complaint was that the power sockets were a bit too far from the bed.

Hotel reception was friendly and efficient. The rooms are small and simply furnished but adequate, particularly the large and very comfortable bed. They were well sound proofed and secure. I would have liked a safe and a kettle and tea bags (but you can get hot water downstairs if you need it). Internet in the room had a good connection and was included in the price. The hotel is on the no 8 bus route so it's just a few minutes to the main station in downtown Geneva and in the other direction it goes to WHO (OMS). It's a good base and reasonably priced. You can get a light meal in the restaurant if you don't want to venture out every night.

Stayed here for 1 week. Hotel is well located.

Small hotel room but the bed was comfortable.

Close to transport and central busses station, easy to navigate around.

Got a bus pass from reception on arrival (did not had to ask for it & Front desk staff were nice to explain that most Hotel in Geneva provide visitors with bus passes during their stay.

Taxi are very expensive in Geneva.
