I went to Teroirific, will the fabulous name, to attend an ACUMEN event (a international organization to fight world poverty) and we brought our own cheese and just bought glasses of wine. I met the lovely, beautiful, dynamic and charming owner, who is Spanish and whose parents and ancestors have been making wine in Northern Spain for many generations. She is also a rock star, with an all women rock band called the Furies.
I had a wine from her parents' vineyards, it was divine. I was welcomed, the place was super hip, and the clientèle polite, nice and well dressed. It was near the train station and easy to locate and in a small narrow storefront. It is moving to a new location and I look forward to returning. The place had character!
