We stayed there whilst travelling Europe. The decor was a little dated, but the hotel was in a great location and was very clean. Staff were friendly, and tourists recieve a 'free public transport' pass when they check in. Free internet downstairs also.

Breakfast was great with lots of variety and great quality food. Staff were friendly.

This was a great hotel, close to most of the sights in Geneva. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Some review talk about the hotels proximity to the red light district, however we had no problems and could only see store fronts for sex shops, which were down the street. The front desk staff were wonderful and would make reservations at restaurants for us when we happened to find restaurants where they only spoke French. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late at night and needed somewhere to sleep before travelling up to La Clusaz the next morning.

Location is good, really close to both the train station and the Europa car hire. It's not the most beautiful of Geneva's neighbourhoods but actually what you'd expect in any city being next to a train station. Some of the other views are OTT. The area is not shocking if you live in any other European city and have passed through the train station at 11pm.

Room was fine, basic with a comfy bed. Breakfast was also good. Staff were efficient and attentive.

I'd recommend this place if you need somewhere economical for a night or two in Geneva.

Room Tip: Go for a higher room as street can be noisy at nigh

This hotel is well-situated in terms of accessibility (near Cornavin Place), the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is good and the price is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, the location in terms of the surroundings reported by others is not great - but there are lots of other hotels in this same area, and I certainly did not feel unsafe, nor did street noises intrude on my sleep. On the plus side, there are lots of restaurants and attractions in easy walking distance, and public transport is also very close (plus they give you get a free tourist city transport pass). My only minor criticisms are that there was no coffee in the room (lots of tea!) and the lights in the room were rather dim. However, I will use the hotel again when I return to Geneva.

i booked this hotel out of confidence as it as close to Mont blanc area of Geneva. the hotel was fine and the bed was comfortable and no real problems with the hotel but the surrendering area is the worst iv ever seen. in my fifteen years of travel i have never seen any area as bad. the hotel is next door to a sex shop. junkies and sex workers more or less rule the remaining area. there is no good bars or places to eat so the question remains as to why anybody would stay here if only for the price of a room. the hotel is close to the train station and some good shops but be aware of the area at night.

This Hotel is a 3 stars hotel and I didn't expect much for its breakfast given that everything in Swiss is so expensive but the breakfast really blew me away. There are 2 hot dishes: eggs & ham; a lot of break like croissants and waffle, cereals & dry fruits, fresh fruits, salmon salami yogurt, various types of tea bags and juice. Definitely a choice for budget travel because the breakfast costs at least some 15 franc per person.

The room is small but we can't expect much from a 3 stars hotel, there is a lift. There is a sex shop just nice to it but i don't find the surroundings any different from other hotels.

I was in Geneva on September for business. What I liked the most was the customer service, breakfast and location...but I must say that everything was great in general.
This hotel really looks nice. It is nicely and tastefully decorated. Common spaces are nice and comfortable too.
+Elevator. -Its capacity may not exceed 2 people or 1 with luggage. (if you carry many pieces, it may take you more elevator rides than expected but you have the option at least)
Room: +Nice deco and well maintained in general. +-There are a few details that let you know that the hotel is clearly getting old (I stood at room 231, 3rd floor, just in front of the elevator), but it was ´+very comfortable and cosy. +"spacious" lovely bed.- Very hot although I used the AC and opened windows. -Shower not spacious but +shower is great for those taller than 1,90. +Bathroom is spacious in general. Feel free to dance while you +dry your hair or to place the +ironing board (there's one available to iron your suits). +Safety box. +Cable TV.+Minibar. +AC. -Not enough light during the evening (well, I have vision problems too). -small but I managed myself to place two pieces of luggage. If you're two... well, you will find the way to place everything...- If you have noisy neighbors, you will hear everything. +spacious desk.
Amenities: +really helpful amenities for business travelers (shoe polish, sewing set). +Tiny water heater for your fruit and mynth tea bags!
Cleanliness: Excellent!! You can even chose your room to be cleaned just a few days a week (not every day).
Meals: I only had breakfast but It was the best I ever had in european hotels.Variety (eggs, fruits, great swiss bread, yogurt, cheese, jam, ham, cereal, excellent coffee); quality (freshness) quantity (take as much as you can)...
Service: my favorite part. Mr. Khan was the person I talked the most and he is just great. There were also two young ladies who are really kind too. They are all great because they were kind, respectful, nice and efficient. They helped me so much with everything I required them to assist me with! The ironing board, printing service, wi-fi connections, charging my mobile, wake-up calls, they explained the hotel policy to me as well as the fees they were charging... I congratulate them for their attitude and service. Thanks to all the staff who prepared my breakfast, cleaned my room, did their job efficiently... who shared their experiences, showed knowlege... and added a smile to it! SUPER PLUS: free transportation card and maps of the city!!!
Location:+20 minutes away from Geneva airport (Taxis may charge around 50CHF/60 USD) or you can even get there by train +3 blocks (walking) from bus and train station. +Walking distance to shops (like Manor, Migros), restaurants and really nice stores). +Next to a grocery shop that closes by 20h. +Next to a "fast food" small business (roasted chicken, pizza and panini). - lots of sex shops and "street crew" specially during the evening til late night. Not recommended for sensible audiences. ´+Paradoxacally SAFE (red quarters in Switzerland are safe, I agree. Just take basic preventions). Trust me when I say that it is safe, low risk place (even good looking): I am from Latin America.

The overall view: It went over my expections. Decent place to stay, great for a 3 star hotel in a such expensive city like Geneva. Relation price-satisfaction is more than fair.

Room Tip: Choose upper levels, next to the stairs, in front of the elevator rooms. To avoid noise and fatigue.
