The Portuguese and Spanish staff caters you some genuine Italian specialties. Although this restaurant offers some standard dishes that any Italian restaurant will offer in Geneva, they do have a seasonal part of the menu that changes every few months. This is generally the menu you want to try, as it includes things like pasta with wild boar, fresh mushrooms or mussels. They always have a recommended wine which will be at a lowered price. At the end of your meal, free grappa or limoncello is customary.
The best aspect of the place, however, is the service. Come once and you'll be treated as a valued customer. Come twice and you'll be an old friend. You can always ask for adjustments on your food, and it's one of the few places bringing a free water jug without having to ask for it.
The bill is in line with prices in Geneva. Take care to ask a table not near the oven, as it can get hot. The place is kid friendly.
Overall, it is a restaurant that makes you want to come back for the food and the friendly atmosphere.
