“Charming boutique hotel”
Reviewed 28 February 2012

We chose this hotel because of the tripadvisor reviews, for sometime we liked staying in boutique hotels for personalized service. This hotel gives you that and more!. From the main train station, we walked our way into this hotel. Very modern, loved the interiors. They accommodated our early check in requests, refill our coffee capsules generously, and they have free wifi!!!
Our room was huge, and so was the bathroom! This is one of the hotels i give my 5 star rating. 5 star in every way.
And the sweetest part was, they sent us a thank you card all the way to the Philippines, how lovely!

Enjoyed New Year's Eve at this hotel again for the second year running.
This time with baby, mother in law and a Jack Russell.

Could not fault the room, the service or the restaurant.

Keep up the great work EastWest and I look forward to seeing the New Year's Eve degustation menu for 2012...!

This a very modern and nice hotel.
It is centrally located, very near from the train station.
It is posh. Very beautiful. Entrance, lounge, restaurant and bar look nice.
The staff is extremely kind. They speak several languages.
The room is big enough. Big bed. Very modern decoration. All new furniture. Big plasma TV.
The bathroom is big enough too and nice.
Good toiletries.
The price was high, but I did a good research before booking and it was a good quality-price relation considering the overpriced Geneve hotels.
Enjoy your stay!!

Upon arrival, if you are getting to the hotel by foot, make sure to avoid one of the side streets you may by pass from the central train station. The street is a right light district and is scattered by escorts!!!

The hotel lobby is very cosy and the reception staff is efficient and the check in processed relatively quickly. If you have heavy luggage, you may have a little of trouble getting to the elevator as there is a random staircase between the lobby and the elevator lobby which may make your journey difficult if you have heavy luggage.

The deluxe room is beautiful and very comfortable. The mini bar area is well stocked and great selection of merchandise is also available. The toilet is situated in a separate room. Moving into the main living area, there are roller doors which separate the bathroom and the bedroom. The bathroom is simple, generous and elegant with great rainfall shower and exquisite toiletries.

The bedroom is also very well equipped. One of the most obvious but often overlooked feature is labels on the numerous light switches. This shows he attention to detail this hotel paid to designing the rooms. A lovely shortbread biscuit, welcome note with 'to do' list, and tomorrow's weather forecast, and lavender scented pillow spray awaited you on the bed.

Moving on to room service, the menu is simple, but don't judge based on the limited choice of selection. The club sandwich and beef tenderloin was ordered and although it was initially perceived as pricey, the quality and the taste if the food far outweighed the price. The club sandwich came with the creamiest and tastiest mash potato. The beef tenderloin was absolutely divine. All in all, the room service was beautiful and elegantly presented.

Overall, this hotel is very lovely. Relatively, it is an expensive but worthwhile stay.

really enjoyed my stay here. nice style (asian) with cool features like touch pad-like elevator buttons. we also ate at the restaurant which was quite delicious. right around the corner from the lake.

Room Tip: we had a suite which had a fold out bed (when folded out it made the room a bit small).

I liked the hotel, but it was very expensive.
I had some trouble with the internet connection, for some reason my laptop did could not find the network.
The room was OK, but to tell the truth I expected a bit more for this price.
