The good: great breakfast buffet included in room rate - very wide buffet selection and espresso made to your order; location in new part of town encourages exploration of a pleasant part of town visitors may not otherwise see; air conditioned.
The not so good: room rather dated; tiny bathroom; noise from train station; service not as warm as most Swiss hotels; location right at end of road next to train station rather annoying if you have been walking all day or have heavy luggage.
Not as Good as hotel Walderstaettterhof Lucerne, but much better than Hotel Monopol Lucerne which is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - worse than hotels in post-conflict Solomon Islands.
