it was along time ago but while traveling with my mother and sister we arrived in Lucerne , after riding the train and climbing over the mountain tops the stunning lake appeared and then the town itself , we choose our hotel and happier surprised with our choice , cosidering this was Switzerland the rooms were very reasonalbe and in the heart of the town , very close to the covered bridge we crossed that later burned down but then restored . The water there was noticable freshing and you just felt sparkling clean , its know wonder so much of it is exported around the world . The view from the town was astonishing , you could see all the seasons at one glance until your eyes were finally drawn upward to the ALPS now with a light covering of snow , there is also a arialtram the will take you up to the top . As for our hotel it was one of the nicer ones of our trip since we were all on a budget , Very clean and comfortable , we all loved it

Room Tip: we didn't choos our rooms , it was crowded .

We took two double bedrooms for two nights it was located on a quiet street and the breakfast was excelent.the bus stop was very much near the hotel.athough the station must be 1 and a half kilometer. The receptionist was helpful.and there are quite a many pamplets in the hotel itself about Lucerne. At last i should tell you that Lucerne is a beautiful city.

Room large and modern. Location good, not far from the river. A bit of a hike from the train, but if we can do it you can, except maybe in rain or big heat. Go along the river to get there; the signage on the streets away from the river is a tad confusing.

CHF4 for a Coke or beer from vending; maybe pick one up on the way in if you are thirsty.

Wifi 2CHF for an hour, but very slow and dropped connection several times; perhaps it was because of our far-corner room, but we caution travelers not to rely on having wifi while here. They refunded our payment.

Breakfast made up for everything, though. Huge array of hot and cold options, including good croissants, noodle soup and rice for Asian palates, cheese and bread for Europeans, eggs and speck, an excellent coffee machine, and more.

A really nice hotel near the centre of the city, about 15 mins walk from the train station. Nice and quiet down one of the less busy streets.

Breakfast was really good (for Switzerland) it even had some cooked food! It was incredibly busy though even at 7am (lots of coaches were leaving early I think for trips - lots of Americans in the hotel).

Our room was excellent. Clean and very roomy. Two single beds and a writing desk and some chairs. A very spacious bathroom too.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

I couldn't really fault it!

Room Tip: We had a room on the non-traffic side which was nice and quiet. Also we had a room with windows on t...

We stayed here one night and we were able to walk here from the train station with our bags. Close to old town, bridges, and restaurants. Rooms were adequate but clean. Stayed on a Sunday night and had no noise from the street with the windows open. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and found the hotel very complete - in respect of cleanliness, accessibility, breakfast spread, friendliness of the staff, size of the room, location of the hotel itself. Its a walking distance from Luzern Bahnof, and very close to the riverside. The staff was polite, and spoke English which was a big help. They also assisted in planning our days in Lucerne. Overall, very good place to stay for the cost.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road are nice, you get a little balcony to sit and look out in the evenings.
