This is the fourth time I lodged at this very central and conveniently located city Hotel. As I don’t drive, the central train station with all kinds of shops and eateries is right opposite the hotel and easy to reach. The well appointed hotel rooms are a surprise, each floor sports a different décor – very modern and absolutely clean. Best and most comfy mattresses, pillows and linen I come across anywhere in a long time. The friendly and prompt service of all the employees was nothing short of amazing and forthcoming. A deliciously displayed Swiss breakfast is offered, with loads of fresh bakery items and an array of other hot and cold treats typical to Switzerland. Excellent Lunch & Dinner ‘a la carte’ cuisine. In addition the Executive Chef offers an innovative selection of vegetarian and Gluten free choices. The walk across the picturesque bridge takes you a mere 3 minutes and you’re in the ‘Altstadt/old Down Town’s high end shopping district. Highly recommend this Hotel and for sure will stay again.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper then request a room facing the court yard and ensure you mention a car pa...

I stayed at this fabulous hotel, which is located quite conveniently less than 100 meters to the main train station on my family trip this year. I must say, it was a very nice experience to stay here. The staff at the reception desk and the restaurant were most helpful and very nice. They made our stay at the hotel very comfortable and were always willing to help out by locating time schedules for trains and buses for us anytime.
The rooms were quite good and the decor was very modern. Only felt that the bathrooms could have been a bit more than computer cubicles. Still, very clean and the toiletries were very good.
The rooms had sound proof windows which you could shut if the outside sounds disturbed you but in general, during our stay, even keeping the windows was quite fine with not much sound to disturb you.
The old town is quite near by, about 0.5 kms walk and lots of lovely restaurants to eat at in a 10 minute walk radius from the hotel.

As a young couple, we were blown away with how expensive everything was in Switzerland, particularly Lucerne. We were lucky enough to have found this hotel. Had everything you could possibly need in a great location. Within walking distance to everywhere, however we only stayed here for a couple of nights and we did day trips around Switzerland. If you are looking for a luxurious experience in Lucerne your best bet is by the Lake, however if you are using it for a base it is perfect for everything you need. Breakfast was good too.

Stayed for two nights. Staff were kind and professional. Room was spotless. Bathroom small but cleverly designed to maximize space. Only downside was the bed had a metal frame and the mattress was on the thin side. Hence only a rating of four.
Used the restaurant twice and enjoyed it.

Awesome hotel, great staff, very good location. We stayed three nights at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. It's very close to the Luzern (Lucerne) train station, so walking to it with some bags is not a problem. The area around the hotel is very nice, with the river, the station and a bustling intersection nearby, and good restaurants, shops all on a quick walkable distance.
The room was very clean and large enough for a family with kids. The bathroom was big enough, clean and with a lot of those bathroom supplies.

The staff at this hotel was very helpful at all times. We interacted with 2-3 different persons and they all were good. We had a break in our stay there (because we wanted to stay for one night at Wengen, near Interlaken). They allowed us to keep our big bags at the hotel. Our booking had breakfast included and it was very good, with a variety of food options.

Overall I would definitely want to stay there again and highly recommend it

Room Tip: Ask for business suite if you are traveling with kids.

We arrived very early in the day, around 10 AM and had no problems getting checked in.. Just had to wait for one room to be cleaned.. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and all spoke English very well. The room were very clean and tidy. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic. The supplied breakfast was also very very good. Sliced meats and cheese, A variety of breads. Yogurts, cereals even bacon, eggs and sausages were put out. Our room looked out over Frankenstrasse and even though I have read many reviews concerning the noise levels, once you closed the outside shutters, this became virtually none existent.. Even on a Friday night in the city.
My only issues were, the price for parking overnight and the price for WiFi. I understand that parking in the city is at a premium but after paying about 600 CHF for two rooms the price of at least both of these services could be included. Parking could be based on first come first served. Or a voucher for offsite parking could be supplied. My only other issue is the bathroom supplies.. A shower at 10 PM after travelling from Canada resulted in running out of body wash and tissues.
