After passing up a few restaurants close by, we wandered into La Bonne Cave. A very small but cozy place right on the corner where the main streets meet in Lucerne, we were greeted and served by a delightful young lady, Noemi. Principally a wine bar, the menu is quite limited but was perfect for us. We had a glass of local wine, shared a small salad and panini sandwich and warm apple cake for dessert. A little pricey at 52 Swiss Francs ($57 US), but, about average for Switzerland. Bottom line, worth a visit for a light meal and great glass of wine and we enjoyed meeting and chatting a bit with Noemi (who we learned actually commutes an hour each way to and from work from Basel each day)!
