Had the Swiss Chalet room along with a goat , a cow and a Swiss band !
Very clean and comfortable but be aware of the town clock , it chimes ALL NIGHT !
Great shops and restaurants within yards but the ones on the riverside get very busy.
Take the boat to Vitznau then the cogwhell train up Rigi , great day out.
Breakfast is taken at the Krone Hotel around the corner , nothing special but adequate.
Whole area is so "Chocolate Box" , will definately return.

Room tip: Had a peak a quite a few rooms and all looked great.

Great location with a gorgeous view of the clock tower! Quirky themed rooms, capsule coffee machines and a brilliant buffer breakfast (at another hotel around the corner). The Bircher muesli was the best!!

A couple of negatives though...the pillows were feather so very soft causing an uncomfortable nights sleep and the curtains were virtually non existent. They didn't fit the window properly and allowed in a lot of light. No sleep ins were achieved.

Overall it was good.

Great option if staying in Lucerne for a few nights. It is located in the old town conveniently situated by the bridge.Rooma are nice and clean. I was upgraded to the Lion heart suite which has a lovely balcony overlooking the square.

Room tip: ask for lion heart suite if you want a balcony overlooking the square and the river

The room was noisy and bright, it needed block out curtains (2 curtains were completely missing) this let in a lot of light and made it difficult to sleep. The restaurant downstairs was very noisy and when the windows were open (due to the stuffiness and heat in the room) we found it quite disturbing. (we were on level 3)
We also had an early checkout and forfeited our breakfast, we were not reimbursed, so we paid for it but never had it! Disappointing and also we asked for a wake up call and we are still waiting for it!!! luckily we set our phone with an alarm, just as well! The room was clean and handy to everything in Old Lucerne, this made up for the negatives.

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room and maybe if there are views, one with a view.

Way overpriced for the quality and service it offers. We got some attic room as that was the only I've to got a family of 3 (!). No AC and it gets pretty hot. Room is not small but washroom is tiny, especially the shower stall is terrible.

Free breakfast that was part of the deal is actually at a different hotel under the same management. Only one server serves a whole lot of people there and service us slow/bad.
Will not recommend the hotel at all.
