“A must see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

Our hotel was close to Chappel Bridge, so we made a point to visit this landmark. The bridge is beautiful. The flowers that are planted around the outside of the bridge make it even more charming to its visitors.

The bridge always has loads of people on it. Regardless, find a spot that you like, and take in the view.

The only reason I subtracted a star from this attraction was due to the gift shop located in the middle of the bridge. I dislike tourist traps like that. If it were up to me, I'd leave the landmark stand on its own and leave the charm untouched by commercialism.

“Chapel bridge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

Our hotel and the old town lucerne had the chapel bridge in between. With its picturesque view, it is easily one of the best tourist attractions. Swans and ducks swim about, gracing the waters. Wonderful sight.

“Worth a visit”

A nice bridge worth a visit if you are in Lucerne. The wooden bridge with the alps backdrop gives a perfect scenery for a picture. Good eateries, cafes and pubs along side

“Paintings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

The flowers on this bridge are beautiful and after taking the time to view all the painting above you as you stroll across makes this a memorable stop on your trip to Luzern. Some of the painting have been restored since the bridge fire.
