“Great Crepe!”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

Great Crepe, a relaxed University atmosphere, no frills, but a lot of fun. Felt like I was back in college.

“For Those Who Love Crepes”
Reviewed 20 June 2013

The fare at Bach & Buck is pretty much all crepes, all the time. Well, perhaps not all the time. There is often a sign out front declaring the restaurant open when it is, in fact, closed....leaving "open" signs out all the time is a quirk Bach & Buck shares with a few other restaurants in town, and especially it seems those near the lakefront. There are also times in the morning when the shop is open for coffee or tea but not for crepes. This aside, they do what they do, and they do it well.

The staff are friendly, the restaurant is quite cozy and the decor almost funky. The food is very good, though the menu is limited, and it is limited with intent. If you find yourself wandering about Neuchatel and have a craving for crepes in a relaxed atmosphere, Bach & Buck is ideal.

Prices are quite reasonable, or at least relatively reasonable.....this is Switzerland, after all. The location is decent, right on the main road through town, about a block and a half from the lake.

“EXCEPTIONAL!!”
Reviewed 21 January 2013

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bach & Buck!! The crepes were simply amazing, both the savory and the sweet. It was quite the find for our group! Economical and good food! They have something for everyone! Language was not a barrier, they were very helpful and accommodating. They "close" for lunch, but a lot of the time they were in the store and you could order from a limited menu. For the week and a half we were there, I would say they got the majority of our business and the rest of the American contingent, as well, while in Neuchatel for the World Baton Twirling Championships.

“Crêpes, Crêpes, Crêpes”
Reviewed 9 January 2013

The best place for eating Crêpes in Necuahtel. The interior is really cosy and the staff are quite friendly. Prices are according to Swiss standard. You will spend about 20 CHF for a salt and sweet crêpe. When you are there do not forget to try "Crêpe thai".

“Opening times”
Reviewed 3 September 2012

The sign on the door says they close for crepes at 22h00 on Sundays.
When I went by 21h15 the staff were packing up and when queried told me they were closed.
VERY ANNOYING.
I have no reason to distrust the glowing reviews of the crepes - this makes it even more annoying to not be able to experience them.
