Love this place, particularly after Corrado took over and brought his family pizza recipe with him.
great value, best position in the middle of the village. Used a lot by locals for lunch, which tells you it is great value, quick service, and good fresh food....

Lovely hotel located right in the center of the pedestrian zone, near the train station but extremely quiet.
Warm welcome and lovely staff. But the rooms need maintainance:
- dark (cigarette ash?) stains on the carpet
- the shower curtain looking desperate and not exactly fresh (it must cost CHF 10.- at Migros)
- the tiles on top of bathtub were broken, which led to mini-flooding of the bathroom
- pillow was as flat as the earth
- toiletries were a bit miserable, a bit of creativity in Swiss hotel bathrooms (locally produced products like soap etc) would be nice

We had a day trip to Gstaad and had lunch at the Pizzeria... being vegetarian was not an issue at all, they a good selection for us! The best Pesto I've ever had and some pretty good Arabiatta as well!

I and my friend stayed at the hotel for one night during our biking trip in July 2012. The rooms are quite basic, but very nice. Everything is clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very tiny (shower only), but extremely clean. We liked the breakfast (might be not huge choice, but fresh and tasty). The receptionist spoke good English and was very friendly. The location is probably the best in town. They were kind enough to offer special off-street parking for our bikes. Wi-fi was free and worked very well. Unfortunately, the sauna was closed during our trip.

Room Tip: We had a corner room with a great view on the main street, I highly recommend it.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but I had lunch in the restaurant. The maître d is a great Italian lad Corado his name. He knows what service is. We had a light lunch menu not expensive and very good. i have been there a couple of times in the last years. The pizzas have become extremely good ( they weren’t 2 years ago). The French speaking lady Laetitia who served us was lovely. I can highly recommend the pasta aglio oglio e peperoncino.
Location is just perfect in the middle of central town.

We are from New Zealand and stayed one night at Sporthotel Victoria in Gstaad, on Friday 9th December.
We were very well looked after by the friendly staff, and our room was perfect for the two of us, for one night. The room was quite small, but we were warned on check-in that the only 'double' room they had available was quite a small (we did not prebook, just received infio from the Gstaad Information Centre on arrival about which hotels were available), it had a balcony and looked down onto the pedestrian street below.
It's probably a 3 star hotel, but is very clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable.
There is a lovely 'wellness' area at the basement of the hotel where we had a sauna, and is possible to have a work out in the small gym, have sunbed, massage etc. It's not open reguarly, but you just need to request with the front desk to use the facility and they will arrange for you.
The European continental breakfast was delicious, and there was a lot to choose from (contrary to another comment I have read on this site).
Gstaad is a very small town, and this hotel is located in the centre, not too close to a main road so is very quiet.
We stayed at the hotel approx 1 week prior to the busy ski season starting, so we did not see the town in full swing, though it was bitterly cold outside! Most beautiful location.
I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to other 3-4 star travellers.
Thanks for having us!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 11nights. The room was ok,clean, with basic things.
Breakfast buffet was also ok, not much to choose from. Every day same things to eat.
The hotel restaurant serves nice(but quite small) pizza. The staff friendly.
