The woman in the self service cafe is incredibly bossy. She told my husband he had the wrong type of glass for his drink and actually took it away. Haven't they heard about "the customer is always right"?

The ride is included in the Jungfrau Travel Pass and includes a cablecar to the top with a few stops on the way up. Being a popular attraction there were many people enjoying the sights. Thus we basically had to queue around the very short walk and no room really on the platform. If you enjoy sights from hights and care for a bit of walking I highly recommend to hit the trails in a hurry to avoid crowds. First is also a good starting point for the popular hike to Bachalpsee.

It’s just like the advertisements and YouTube clips. Lots of fun and quite safe - well, apart from the Trottibikes (like a scooter) where you really needs to be confident. Some Japanese ladies were having a very hard time of it...
The cable car goes a long way up, giving you excellent views all the way. The glider experience was good. Not that much of a rush but a long glide and felt very safe. The little 3 wheeled carts were my favourite. So much so that I did it twice! (Just be careful here - I pad for three experiences thinking that they would be three different experiences, only to find that its not - its three different times on no matter what you choose. After that its 20 CHF for each new choice.)
Anyway, the karts are great - and fast! You could come off quire easily if you went at it too hard. Thankfully more people don’t.
Overall a great experience and definitely worth doing!

Busy on a July mid morning on a not particularly bright viewing day. Don't join the queue if you have a Jungfrau travel pass, only if you want additions like the Flyer or Mountain karts. The Cliff walk and Sky-bridge are free. It is a straightforward ride to the top, no change points unless you want to get off and ad-mire views at the lower stations or use the Flyer. There are great views from the restaurant and areas outside and of course many walks in different directions.

Arriving at First by gondola, you are struck by the amazing views in all directions. It is an excellent place to begin a wide variety of hikes throughout the Grindelwald mountain area
